My final piece involved a session with Architectures laser cutting tech.  In it he taught me how to create a vector file on illustrator, and we looked at options for how my piece could be etched.  We decided on etching the surface only barely keeping it from being an obvious cut into the acrylic.

Included is a photo of the piece in progress.  I loved this process and would definitely consider using it in further pieces.
